And So Leaves The Bird
wild, wild and high
so high it is
become adult
precisely
and the wind
plays in the woods
lonesome flies
wild and tight
in the limit of fire
in the circle of fire
hungry tiger wild
among the trees
nonstop, falls
with the leaves
wild, and wild comes
the strengthening absence
cool, no remembrances
in the night that is wild
for the day will not be mild
any longer, my friends
wild, cool and far
the city from the star
bright and wild
and colorless mild
due to “The Lark Ascending”, poem by G. Meredith and music by V. Williams
